Test carried out on gas meter & pipe work to ensure there are no gas leaks
Inspection of flue/chimney for the appliance to check it is operating correctly
Check the condition of the appliance including effectiveness of any seals, gaskets for signs of leaking and heat distress
Service carried out to appliance specific manufacturer’s instructions
Analysis of combustion exhaust gases to ensure the appliance is burning gas safely & efficiently
On completion an electronic service record is issued as proof of service
Servicing is also available for the following appliances: fires, stoves, water heaters, cookers & hobs
Gas Safety Record:
All accessible gas pipe work is visually inspected to ensure it is in good condition and tested to ensure there are no gas leaks.
All appliances checked for safe operation including the following:
It is correctly set and adjusted to ensure the gas is burning correctly
It is of a type suitable for the room in which it is located
It is physically stable, securely fitted and properly connected to the gas pipe work
There is an adequate and permanent air supply for the appliance
Flues & chimneys are operating correctly
All safety devices are working & function correctly
On completion an electronic safety record is issued and can be emailed to the client, letting agent or property management company, etc.
